. Don't forget to cancel your current mutual insurance beforehand, otherwise you'll have to pay for both. How do you go about it? All you need to do is first consult the doctor you have declared as your "treating physician", and then the "corresponding" doctor he or she has indicated. If, for example, you consult your GP, Social Security will reimburse 70% of the €25 fee. However, if you go to a practitioner who is not your GP, you will only be reimbursed up to 30%. Yvon's tip: you can consult certain practitioners directly, without going through your GP and without being penalized: gynecologists, ophthalmologists, stomatologists (as well as psychiatrists and neuropsychiatrists if you're aged between 16 and 25).
